ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Reading an article on sky now and the only one arguing for the league to be recognised is the kopite from their podcast.

Do they not realise that them getting the league could screw over a lot of club's?

I'll be happy if they void the league now, inconsiderate barstools

In 2015 Leicester won seven of their last nine games to avoid relegation. Who knows if any of the bottom three now could go on that sort of run. Who knows if Liverpool could go on a poor run of league form and City win every remaining game. If the Prem is null and void there are no winners or losers.

Didn’t Wigan win three impossible looking matches in the last week to avoid the drop as well a few years back?

They had to win at Arsenal, the RS and home to United......something like that.

And they won all three to stay up.

Not so much don’t realise it, they just don’t give a stuff how it affects any other team.

(to be fair, neither would if EFC was in their position right now lol )

Say the league gets terminated and they get crowned champions or if everyone is made to play games behind closed doors, hell even if the league picks up as normal on april 5th (it won't) it doesn't matter. The season and thus their title is tainted forever. Just a mouth ago they where gonna be the invincible treble winners now the only trophy they might get will be tainted and they'll be seen as laughing stock!

"And that son was the season when the men in suits handed us the title without making eye contact with anyone and left while trying not to howl laughing!"

Think they did. This is why we love the game. Who would have thought Leicester would go onto to win the league the following season. Do they rs deserve to win the league, hate to say it but yes. Have they won it- no they havnt. So they cannot give it to them. If they do though, they will always have an * agai nst them, because they were 'judged to have won it'. Season 2919/20 PL winners LFC * (* denotes season not completed).

Well no. I'm sure we would be hoping we would win also.

I want th season to be voided and just cut European football next season to solve that issue. If they gave the title to them lot then it wouldn't phase me but out of principle they have to make all decisions or none at all.

I do not think they would class it as "winners". Closest runner up would be the more likely term.
