I'm 60 on Sunday and a Diabetic, my wife is the same age with a, at times, comes and goes chronic cough condition. So as you can see I am a little concerned. Hopefully this will pass us all by.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the virus mate, unless you have pre-existing conditions it’s not particularly dangerous

Presumably there are some people in the city that are old and or have underlying conditions

To be honest I'm getting on myself so I'm a little concerned. I'm also in Saudi as we speak and its anybody's guess how rife it is here. This lot are definitely not telling the truth if what the locals are saying is correct.

Of course they can make the decision but that will cost them money and the actual advantage of having a crowd behind them whilst they try to win a football game.

I mean a few older peoples lives mean nothing when things like that are taken into consideration.

why would athletics fans coming to our city be any more concerning than any other Bunch of fans from the UK, other than the obvious xenophobia.

Why is that xenophobic? Surely it would protect both Spain and UK from cross contamination plus expose less people to risk during transit?

Edit: Madrid is a high risk zone according to Google. Maybe that's why mention Atletico fans in particular.
