I’ve never understood this term because we still absolutely hate United because with their fanbase it’s really hard not to and we only like City when they play them otherwise their cheating bells. It’s also funny because most of their fans couldn’t point to Manchester on a map let alone tell you what county it’s in.

You just know their fans will organise an unofficial parade where they end up trashing the streets of Liverpool/hitting waiters over the head with pavement slabs/pushing old men into fountains/shimmying up drainpipes/pushing walls over, racially abusing people, etc.

I went on to the BBC sport website this morning for what they described as "reaction to the weekend Premier League" fixtures expecting a VAR related discussion. Lead item was inviting people to volunteer details of what has happened in their lives in between the last two Liverpool FC league defeats.
