We need to find you an editor my friend.

I still think you'd be into my suggestion.

Poos and giggs have a search of the Nude Dragons doing Beyond the Wheel. He was past 50 I think.

I'm a little worse for wear but no need for an editor, my tipsy typing is charming.

Ok so i had a brief look and i need something a bit with a beat now but i will come back to it.

First impression of the 4 seconds i watched on YouTube is that he has incredible range like always and its a great rock voice. But the music just seemed a little bland.

I admit that there may be more rewarding parts to the song outside of my 4 second review period.

They're kind of ok, i wouldn't complain if someone put their cd on. But they're no Pearl Jam.

Soundgarden were the senior reps of the grunge scene That song was from 1988. Ultramega OK. That he did it live 30 years later was the amazing thing for me.

Yes i really should make the effort, I'd probably really like lots of their stuff really.

I didn't know they had been going so long, he hits some really high and stressful notes when he sings though, you're right he did great to sustain the consistent quality.

I saw someone mentioned how good it was to see Rod Stewart's voice still sounding good at the Brits last week too. Can't comment, didn't see it. No idea why i mentioned it.

For no reason other than i love it, here's one of my favourite vocal performances ever...

Zach is a top 5 MC. Morello is in the same ballpark for guitartists..the way he made his guitar sound like a guy losing his mind at a turntable.

Know Your Enemy.

If you have the time have a listen at Cornell doing Like a Stone on AOL solo back in the day. So haunting. So beautiful.
Zach isn't even a top 50 MC. Seriously.

Tom Morello is a jaw-droppingly good guitarist though. Doesn't even use many effects, gets most of his sounds just from guitar and amp.

The rhythm section from Rage are superb as well. Tight as a duck's arse and funky as funk.

Geordie - Killing Joke -Guitar
Simon Raymonde- Cocteau Twins - Keyboards/Piano
Roland TR808- Percussions
Pete de Freitas- Bunnymen- Drums
Peter Hook- Joy Division/N.O.- Bass
Elizabeth Fraser- Cocteau Twins- Vocals
Lisa Gerrard- Dead Can Dance- backing vocals

If you're going to do it don't restrict yourself to a four piece. Let's go mad!

Levon Helm - drums and vocals
Donald 'Duck' Dunn - bass
Dr John - piano and vocals
Jimi Hendrix - guitar and vocals
Jimmy Page - guitar
Garth Hudson - organ
Otis Redding - vocals
Tammi Terrell - vocals
Bobby Keys - saxophone
Miles Davis - trumpet

Ideally I'd like to add a trombone player to the brass section but without Googling I've no idea who.
Glen Miller

Would love to see Jack White (of White Stripes) team up with Fiona Apple and PJ Harvey in an acoustic guitar/piano/vocal set.

Would love to also see Zach de la Rocha (Rage Against the Machine) team up with Bob Marley and folks from Sublime to write some new revolutionary/anti-establishment songs.

Would love to see Lorde and Rhianna sing dual vocals backed by The Roots.
