So bbc have posted the video of the offside.

Whalley, who scores the goal, is offside at the start of the move but is only involved in the header.

How long is a phase of play? Or is this again a different rule for them?
That’s not how the offside rule works

He must have been stood offside when the other Shrewsbury player took the shot so would be offside when he headed in the rebound

Nope, just offside when Udoh plays the chipped ball down the line that the other player then crosses for the shot and then save and THEN Whalley (who was offside at the beginning) heads it in.

You’d be hard pushed to argue it wasn’t the same attack / phase of play. Again, it’s galling but it’s a pretty clear decision, he was miles offside. Shrewsbury have been dire both games.
