Leicester were never in the title race, mate. Make no mistake. They’ll finish top 4 but they were never seriously in the hunt and I think even Rodgers knew that. Still a young side that makes too many mistakes and still very reliant on Vardy.

I think your right, but they might come second, so it's more the maths.
To be honest were City even ever in the race? Early season Inuries, that loss to Norwich, I'm not sure they were even a serious contender after 8 or 9 games

City haven’t even been that bad this season. They essentially have the same record they did last season. They’ve only lost one more game than they did last season and they have drawn the same number.

They could easily go on and win all of their remaining games, like they did last season, and still finish 14 points behind this Liverpool side, which says everything about the run that them lot have been on.

the moment Peps ego outweighed reality and he refused to replace Kompany in the summer was when they lost the title

Handballs etc, every single game has seen VAR on their side, its not rigged though and we are all paranoid

You can see how deep it runs by how MOTD totally brushed it off. It’s a red card all day but they replay it once and dismiss it.

Sound like a member of the foil tin hat brigade if you suggest VAR corruption and/or doping are genuine possibilities but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it came out years down the line.

Problem you've got is opposition teams turn to jelly when chances actually present themselves.

Look at yesterday's game, Spurs should be walking away with at least 3 goals. Us last week, 2-3 goals, Watford missing some absolute sitters against them.

Teams are beaten before a ball is kicked and when someone even gets close to running them close (such as Wolves) VAR will sort that out no problem at all

Ive seen them absolute boss one game all season, Leicester away yet here we are discussing a team gaining 61 points out of 63 and the greatest start of any team ever.

Barely believable when you think about some of the performances and the only saving grace is that someone actually stuffs them and Atletico Madrid give them a couple of tough games.

They certainly looked like they were blowing out of their arse 2nd half yesterday which I'm not surprised by as he simply doesn't do rotation.

I've already come to terms with the rs finally winning what is rightfully theirs after 30 years without the coveted title.
I'm really hoping it will release the insufferable amount of pressure that the whole of football has been under, with the desperation of their fans and pundits having increased year after year since their last success, a generation ago.
Leicester were never in it for me plus would seeing Red Brenda with the title have been much more palatable than Herr Klopp?
City have lost that spark and that invincibility and this season, there's absolutely nobody else to challenge them.
So as much as it pains me to say it, fair play to them this season but one league title in 30 years doesn't make them 'The Greatest'. I grew up in the 70s and 80s when the rs really were in a different league to most for many years, until HK and his boys sorted things out for us.
Our time will come again My Blue Friends.

MOTD ignored the tackle in the same way they, and Sky, brushed a stamp on a Man U player at Anfield under the carpet some years ago... I seem to recall a few of ours getting the full media treatment. Maybe Tim Cahill getting a belated ban and I am sure one in the past couple of seasons.

And as for diving...

They did a montage for fellaini when he played for us, i genuinely can't express how much i would enjoy two footing Robertson on the kneecap

Nothing new for them and their army of media apologists

The only thing that stopped the Robertson one being a red was that he got the ball cleanly first, it was the follow through that was nasty. Still, he should have got a 2nd yellow for kicking Alderweireld on the half way toward the end.
