I'll give Carlo the benefit here as he's not seen these lot over a long period and prob thinks he can motivate them into a performance

He's going to have to learn the hard way to day that most of these can't be relied on

I know everyone is complaining about the team selection and may well cock it up today but the players are busted and that was evident against Liverpool on Sunday so maybe a bit of rotation was required, maybe Carlo like what he seen in training or maybe there's another reason for certain selections. Maybe Siggys got the band as a way of saying put up or shut up. We've a world class manager, I'm gonna say he knows better than all of us who feed off rumours and limited football knowledge, daft to be doubting him not even 10 games into his reign. End of the day it's not changing now just get behind them and let's get the 3pts today, most them won't be here in 2 windows anyways!

Only saving grace is that Schneiderlin isn't in midfield alongside Sigurdsson.

But there's absolutely no way Sigurdsson should be in any starting eleven for Everton ever again. I hope we win and he plays well, but the odds strongly suggest he won't.

30mins in you will wonder if he's even on the pitch

He’s a new manager, he’s always gonna go with with what he knows rather than wholesale changes and bringing kids in.
Normally I hate International breaks but this probably would have been an ideal time for one, so he has time to look at some players.
I think we’ll win easy, think the players will have had a ticket and respond accordingly.
It doesn’t paper over how average our actual squad is though.

I'll be watching Sigurdsson closely today and if he shows anything but 100% commitment to the cause...........................well, I don't know what I'll do.

If we win 6-0 we'll go tenth.

By replacing Sneiderlin with Davies we have a chance of some forward momentum - I just hope Sigurdsson appreciates that we'll need to move the ball out to the wings quickly. The last thing we need is slow build up at the back and give them the chance to press us around our own box.
