I know everyone is complaining about the team selection and may well cock it up today but the players are busted and that was evident against Liverpool on Sunday so maybe a bit of rotation was required, maybe Carlo like what he seen in training or maybe there's another reason for certain selections. Only saving grace is that Schneiderlin isn't in midfield alongside Sigurdsson.

But there's absolutely no way Sigurdsson should be in any starting eleven for Everton ever again. I hope we win and he plays well, but the odds strongly suggest he won't.

He’s a new manager, he’s always gonna go with with what he knows rather than wholesale changes and bringing kids in.
Normally I hate International breaks but this probably would have been an ideal time for one, so he has time to look at some players.

By replacing Sneiderlin with Davies we have a chance of some forward momentum - I just hope Sigurdsson appreciates that we'll need to move the ball out to the wings quickly. The last thing we need is slow build up at the back and give them the chance to press us around our own box.
