Someone at the club is feeding our manager information that he’s the captain, but who? Who and why?
Unfortunately I feel like we’ve said this every week this season. He’ll score today and ensure we’re subjected to him for the rest of the season.

I guess I'm ok with him starting given the lack of alternatives, but for him to be captain does feel mad

He doesn’t do a single thing you’d expect a club captain to do. Embarrassing.
I’m really struggling to back this team while players like him are captain. It sends out so many wrong messages it’s ridiculous.
If I were a young player I’d be doing everything in my power to get out of this club.
It’s mad isn’t it, he’s been given the captains armband because he’s 30 years old and that’s it. Not a single other player in that starting line up is less suited to being captain than him.

There’s not even a valid argument for ‘the players look up to him’ he’s absolutely rubbish and If that’s the standard of player the team look up to, respect and rely on to inspire us through a storm then says it all about our mentality.
