Aye which is why we need to be harsh with these wasters and banish them from the club.

Problem with us is we let them come back into the fold - even kin Dunc played Niasse one game.

They should be told either leave or forget ever playing a game of footie again.

And they will just laugh train do whatever just like Bale does, he's happy being excluded and getting is 500k a week

500k a week to bale is the same as what 50k a week is to Niasse he's not getting it anywhere else sadly lol

Having lived in Scandinavia, I can attest to the suspicions about Sigurdssons character. He is a very typical scandinavian in that he doesn´t really care about anything other than himself and his family. Scandinavians are like that, they have a very hard time feeling passionate about anything and have a relaxed attitutude towards work and commitments. Sure, they´ll show up, but they tend to live on high minimum levels rather than high maximum levels of performance. And they are incredibly lazy. You won´t find a scandinavian working a minute longer than what is required in their contracts.

Struggling to find an apology here. All I can see is a coward making excuses.

It's a stock response, which I expect was organised by the club, that lacks any emotive response and any real ownership for the problem.

"Everyone associated with the club – fans, staff, players – are disappointed with the result." Disappointed? For you maybe, but for us its a horrific result.

"I think we have only got ourselves to blame not to have taken our chances in the first half. It's very disappointing." You think? There's no thought required.

"Of course. No-one is happy when you lose and are out of the cup. It's part of the job I think." Not one mention about being unhappy about losing to a reserve side.

Part of the job? Now, I don't expect (all) players to be overly sentimental to the club and feel the same for us, but nobody can be happy being embarrassed...

... and that's what happened yesterday. Normally, I can get myself going again and try to look at the positives, but I'm not sure if I can be bothered with Saturday.

Totally agree
A response like this is taking the mick. Full of genuine sincerity though I am sure. It’s just that we mortal fans don’t understand the hero players
What do you think Peter Reid would have said or Big Nev?

Oh do stop it.

It’s just a massive generalisation so avoid this please.

This is by far the most retarded thing I have ever read and you should feel bad for posting it.

I'm one of his harshest critics and for once although he was poor I don't think he was actually the biggest let down. He was being asked to play a role he wasn't capable of and worse still they put him alongside a player who was incapable of covering up his deficiencies. I think this game puts to bed the notion he can play as an out an out midfielder. The only time he should start a game now is as a number 10 in a 4-2-3-1 however we should try and move away from this formation as it doesn't suit most of our players. Other than that the only other times we should see him is in cameos like against West Ham where he can improve his stats by scoring a late goal.

He's a cack number 10 as well, and it wouldn't matter where he started on the pitch, he's cack full stop.
