Just out of interest, why did Napoli sack him?

Results in the league dropped off a bit this season. They have a megalomaniac film producer owner, De Laurentiis, who after a couple of bad results demanded the club go into retreat (not uncommon in Italy) all staying at the training ground for several days before their next match. The players revolted, Ancelotti begrudgingly turned up though despite voicing his disagreement with the plan. The players didn't though and so despite getting them into the last 16 of the Champions League, his position with the owner had become untenable.
