Gaming is life mate, you tell him.
I've not kept up with the thread but i know you mentioned you had a budget. What have you ended up doing ? Did you buy a pre made PC or did you buy parts to upgrade ?
Be frandly!
Bought a complete new parts list to build one from scratch in the end bud, having issues at the finish line but will hopefully be sorted tonight.
This was the reason why i decided to buy a high end pre built PC. I knew i would get frustrated buying separate parts and building a gaming PC from scratch. Majority say its cheaper in the long run buying your own parts, which is probably true for those who know exactly what they're doing, but i felt i would buy one or two parts at the start and then realize i should of gone the next level up as the PC develops thus spending even more money.
Yeh it’s been a real slog, ended up cheaper than my old PC when I first bought that 10 years ago and it’s miles better - when it works. I’ve learned loads but still find it confusing.
IT guy has been round and it turns out I’d done everything completely right except I’d bought a dead power supply!
Hooked it up to my old PC’s PSU to test and got Windows/drivers etc. installed so just ordered a new PSU as this one is getting sold on.
Pleased with myself for installing and connecting everything right first time anyhow.

It seemed like it was that alright from the info and pics you sent. That's why a few off us said start over and do bit by bit always the best method. I think we all thought you put it together correctly too, but something was not right with a component.
Happy you got an answer. It's always a bit harder to do troubleshooting via typing haha!
Sucks they sold you a duff PSU though.
