It is insane how many times Redknapp bangs on about players UNDER CONTRACT at other clubs.

Ive been watching SSN since 11pm and they have yet to either mention or show the words "£6million".

But i swear they also said the rs won the League title and FA cup in 1985 so shows what they know.

To put this in perspective, if this £6m fee is true, that is over a third of our record transfer fee spent being paid for a player who is out of contract within 5 months.

It would be an unbelievable piece of business for Everton. If it IS true, every single Blue should stand up and applaud whoever negotiated this.

I like hows there's two reasons in that sentence why he might not of wanted to sign for Chelsea yet you ignored one of them.

If we got 6 mil I'd jizz in my pants but sounds too good to be true.

My main concern is if this whole thing is going to "inspire" a Lescott leaving type of performance on the pitch -- which given the team we are playing would be an epic disaster. Hopefully given the opponent they'll all be up for it enough to avoid problems.

I think £6m is no way near what we will get, perhaps they were on about pienaar's wages, rather than the transfer fee?! If we get any money I will bs amazed, I think he will turn down the offers and sign an agreement to join someone in the summer, because he will get more money that way
