Should have sold to THE SAND PEOPLE when they came a calling many moons a go, when we were first choice. Biggest mistake Bill ever made for this club.
Why do you capitalise certain words that don't need them?

Correct, my bad, but fact remains Moshiri has had three managers come in and they only one who has managed to do what we asked was Fat Sam, the other two have been total failures.Sir Phillip Carter was chairman when Moyes was appointed manager.
Fair enough, by the way, Kenwright was part of the Board with Johnson, and he has been on the Board or Chairman for over twenty years, Moshiri has been with Everton for three years, and the first mistake he made was on the day he took over, keeping Kenwright as chairman, his second mistake was on the same day, keeping him on the Board, and his third mistake was letting him have anything at all to do with making decisions about the club.Correct, my bad, but fact remains Moshiri has had three managers come in and they only one who has managed to do what we asked was Fat Sam, the other two have been total failures.
We dont look any more like winning something now then we ever did under Kenwright, but right noe we have a serious worry about relegation that we havent seen since the Peter Johnson days
Sorry to have to tell you but that story was complete hokum. The sheiks were always going to buy City. THis has been repeated many times om here, why do you continue to act as if it were not true? The story of the connection between the Mansoors and Shiniwatra has been told many times.Should have sold to THE SAND PEOPLE when they came a calling many moons a go, when we were first choice. My wife went out to watch Kenwrights production of Blood Brothers last night. She said that the second half was a bit slow. Welcome to our world
It was Pip Green who knocked them back not Kenwright..Green was calling the shots[

Please enlighten me then. At that time, I was living near Citys old ground ( maine road ) in Fallowfield And 4 years before they started to build the Etihad the Arabs were enquiring about Everton. But Everton wanted to keep it "The Peoples Club " Shinawatra im nearly sure, was,nt around then. It was all over the radio stations that the board had rejected their advances.Wrong again. The stuff of legend developed into fake truth by those with a certain agenda. Inasmuch as the Mansoors were researching Prem clubs in general prior to purchase, they were aware of their friend Shinwatras problems at City . Siniwatras frozen money made it impossible to put any money at all into the club, and in fact a city director(no longer there, obviously) paid staff and player wages for two months...the 'Siniwatra months' before the Mansoors got their friend off the hook. It was always going to be City anyway, they had already spoken to the council about the stadium and developing the area around the stadium, both with regard to infrastructure and also 'culturally'. Neither Everton or any other Prem club were ever in the frame. Source: a former City director who shall remain anonymous, collaborated separately by two other people, one a journalist covering City and another City director. Off to dialysis now, back tonight.
Sorry Bill it wasn't me it was all these other fellasWhat’s the sum up of this thread then frequently getting a bounce? Are some people still actually trying to blame the clubs current (mis)fortunes on Bill Kenwright? Seriously? The guy flogged the club (or most/all of his significant interest anyway) YEARS ago now. So what if the new majority shareholder and defacto owner decided to keep him on in what’s effectively a token role, we know Mr Moshiri now calls ALL the shots at the club and/or has his people do this. So some people need to turn it in with the BK bashathon every time the club revisits the doldrums.
Funny cos some of the same folk also hint on the ‘usmanovs pulling the strings’ stuff are the same ones that love the Bill K bashing, tell you what bill kenwright must be a Bond villain like blofeld if he’s still the root of all the clubs current ills and worries when theres one (or is it 2?!) billionaires now actually owning our club. Time to move on, can rip kenwright till the cows come home on his tenure as major shareholder cos that’s fair enough everyone’s entitled to opinion but for the last 3-4 years he’s not been pulling the shots...

Sand people are easily startled...Should have sold to THE SAND PEOPLE when they came a calling many moons a go, when we were first choice. Biggest mistake Bill ever made for this club.
