He's a decent enough player. But he's nearly 27. All he's done has been be a big fish in a small pond at palace all his playing career. And most of that comes from games at selhurst park against middle order prem teams.
60 odd mill plus whatever wages you are talking about a 90m gamble.
Personaly i think thats lunacy for a player who's not really done anything.
