A Personal Appeal to David Moyes; Russian Roulette

If he (Moyes) doesn't at least TRY him in Cahill's position when the aussie leaves us for the Asian cup then I'll honestly be a bit dumbfounded..

Moyes has already come out and said he's "no chance" of playing behind the strikers because he's got other players that can play there. Not at the computer to get the quote but I've posted it on here before.

Face facts - he's 4th choice winger and midfielder and moyes clearly doesn't have much faith. Can't remember the game this season, but the last game he started moyes said it was the best game he's played for the club....figure that one out

I agree. Moyes has this season dented the confidence of quite a few players. Yak and Bily being the two seemingly treated badly, but also ALL our forwards taking a bashing from him. His decisions this season have baffled me constantly.
He DOES bare grudges, and that is clearly stopping us getting results.

Very much this. As much as I love him, Moylezy is letting his grudges affect his judgement, and it's costing.

The video clearly shows that we need Jo, a masterful center forward to distribute to Bily..

In all seriousness, Get Bily ON FFS

Want to see more of him. At least more than 3 minutes. Even if he chips in one or two goals, that would like triple our total so far this year(No, it would not, just seems like it would). I am still a bit raw over our last fixture and will say no more to avoid unwanted negativity.

moyes just wants to show off! and that he can leave those big money players(YES BIG MONEY) on the bench!

*awaits utd phone call!

Bily always plays fantastic for Russia. Maybe it's coz the national team have faith in him.

He probably cant speak great English which may work against him, as he seems the sort of guy who will just do as he's told. He doesn't seem likely to mouth off about not playing in the right position or getting game time.

For me personally, he's a hero, primarily because of that goal against AEK Athens.

I never thought I'd see Everton win in Europe in my lifetime and Bily made it 2 out of 2 for me.

I don't forget the good times.

I propose we give Bily freekick and corner duties, and a roaming role behind the striker. He's got a great touch so let's use him well.

Saves pulling Baines and Arteta out of position and let's arteta take up the edge of the 'D' position were he has scored 2 screamers so far this season...

Innit'.

Nah, it'll be Arteta, Fellaini and Rodwell. Bily will still be a sub which as this thread points out in abundance, is outstanding. He is not a physical player and this has to work against him in Moyes' eyes. Arteta isn't that physical but he's got the Spanish bull's temper. Pienaar makes up for it with a blistering work rate. Everyone else in the side can give as good as they get. Everton are not a finesse side which leaves Bily sitting and watching.

Ought to be in side for this alone. Arteta has simply forgotten how to serve a corner kick and using Baines leaves Everton exposed on the break.

if jags isn't fit by this weekend, maybe play coleman at right back, neville at cb (out of position i know but ffs its better than having hibbert there) with bilya in front of him. we'd be deadly on both wings with that formation

Thought the Bilya/Coleman combination has looked quite decent from what little I've seen of it.

Has Moyes ever really played him in his best position like when he was in Russia and scoring or has Moyes been doing his bit of shoving a square peg in a round hole.
