Been really impressed with what we've done but to go into the season with 2 and a half centre backs assuming theres nothing that we have missed that's a pretty poor showing. Been obvious we needed one since jags and zouma left. Case of all our eggs in one basket then 'oh bugger' when it doesnt fall into one place?

Just being funny mate. He's a good PL player and has a bit of pace/skill but doesnt come close to Zaha's level. Maybe we think we can develop him into a top player

you were all moaning that we didn't get a winger or have a plan b for Zaha now we have you guys are still soaking your pants, Absolutely unreal some people on here you just can't win.

Couple of things there.

Firstly, the suggestion yesterday was that we wanted Iwobi and Zaha, not either/or, seemingly in order to play Iwobi in midfield, as we had intended to play Doucoure. So there's no evidence that he is a Plan B, or even a winger.

Secondly, can people not debate the qualities of players? Do they just have to be happy with everyone we sign and not question it?

I'm happy with Iwobi if it gets done personally, but I hate the sneering attitudes of some on here to people who don't agree with them.

if true, I'd rather buy Iwobi for that price than Zaha for twice the price.....
