24. That's not a joke, he stepped on the pitch in 24 different games. But of course we don't need to replace that according to some people (but not Marco Silva).
Plus we had a year with luck for ones in relation to serious injuries...we are now due a couple bad knee season ending injuries...

The reality is going into this season, knowing Gana was likely to leave, we felt we had 5 positions to address: CF, winger, RB, CB, and CM. If we sign one more player, we will have addressed 4 of the 5, which is great. I expect we add one more here at the end. Those of you expecting we can address every single position with a super signing in every window havent paid attention to any of the rest of the league, or the teams in every other league. Looneys.

Barring a surprise incoming deal, we've actually not splashed loads of cash. Incomings v outgoings.
Got rid of some dead wood, but lost Gana also. Bolstered a couple of areas and got a striker with obvious potential. So thats a big plus.
Weaker in central defensive area. Which is a concern.

All the people who've spent the last hour arguing that we didn't need any more players, and were being sensible with money which is absolutely the right thing to do, and anyone who couldn't see that was an absolute idiot now wondering how they're going to spin it when we spend £40m on Alex Iwobi because we're absolutely desperado.

I'm not disputing that he's a good player. But he has never played a first team game out wide. He has one appearance, 3 minutes as a sub, in a wide area that wasn't youth teams. That has nothing to do with watching the games or anything like that. He didn't play wide for Verona or Juventus.

So saying it's ok we didn't sign a winger because Kean can play wide is not a good thing. Maybe he can do a job there. But my point again is that so far he has never been asked to so we can't really rely on that.

19 of his 80 professional club games (starts and subs) he played predominantly left wing per detailed stats on transfermarkt so it is definitely true he is a CF but he does have some experience wide.
