Nah all part of the games....Palace need to look like they did everything to keep Zaha but he demanded to leave.... Palace will be selling their 2 best players this summer, so imagine the backlash the board will be facing....i'll be amazed now if this deal isn't completed tomorrow (and for just slightly above today's bid)

I know next to nothing about players from other clubs, but I GUESS he might be a Lookman replacement - all purpose wide player, hopefully pushing Walcott down the order, or maybe even out of the door tomorrow. It is a guess, though.

Hard to get your head around the fact tomorrow Everton will likely be signing a player for 85-90 Million.... Mad stuff.... Feels like such a fee should be getting us a much better player though, like one of the candidates for Ballon d'ór... I'd be much more excited if we were after Sane...

It was reported from the outset as being in addition to Zaha. It would appear that it might be instead of Doucouré, although I appreciate that doesn’t seem like an obvious switch.
