60 mil and a private yacht worth 230 mil form uncle Al.
Yes. I think he will not want to be seen as a trouble maker to put off future potential purchasers. He won't be at Palace this time next year whatever happens. ((Unless Palace qualify for the Champions League of course.lol)Do you think if he does not get the move he will knuckle down and still do as well at Palace ?
There's room to play games here tho.
Example being - sell us Zaha for 60m
We sell you J. Mac for 1m.
Utd get a smaller cut.
Obviously that's exaggerated but I'm sure you get the drift!

" hold players hostage" ! FFS! Stay here for a few years while you honour the contract that you willingly signed as negotiated by your advisors and we in turn, dirty criminal bums, pay you £130k a week.
When he eventually does go, it will be for less than we are asking now. That will be because we will want to sell him at that point. At the moment, we don't, hence the £80m price tag.Why not? As nobody is paying £80 million for him. This year or next
I think it’s quite clear at this point that Palace don’t want any of our waste.
Thanks. If all that were true however, you would think that there would have been a release clause in the contract. Wilfs weekly pay went up by about £35k a week. His brother , who is his manager, started agitating for a move fairly shortly afterwards. I think we've played straight and if someone came in and met our price he should go.It seemed to me (as a obvious outsider to the dealings of palace) that he signed the contract as a way of palace to protect their asset. Under the understanding that he would be let go this summer.
Hence why he came out in April saying he was leaving palace in the summer and even hodgson was talking about him leaving about that time.
If he wants to go this window and you have agreed to let hum go at 80m and there's a team offering 65m. Then in some capacity the player is going to push for it. What worries me is hodgson saying he has no say in who stays and who goes it's all up to the board.
I hope we get this deal sorted as I really like zaha but I also hope it works out best for both parties as you seem like a sound guy.
It's not really, pretty sure they definitely have an interest in Mccarthy
Says who though? That rumour from weeks ago that they’d bid £8m that turned out to be made up?

I see us as more of a Private Walker tbh. lolHeading for one of those Corporal Jones moments.
