£55 million isnt what Palace want - but Maybe Brands has seen Arsenal move on and Chelsea's interest being BS and thinks he can get him for a "final" bid of say £60/65 million?

If Zaha wants out I doubt Palace will turn down that sort of fee with no prospect of a bidding war.

We'll see although I just want us hurrying up with our business.

So sell Lookman for £20m(ish) and use that to sign Zaha and I reckon we'll outlay an extra £40m. Not bad if we get him for around £60m.

Thing is i wonder if United have a sell on clause? They might want a slice, which will push the price up as well as the long contract he is on

Don't know if I'm happy with Zaha. It seems an awful lot of money for a player that a. Is not that good and b. Doesn't want to be here, even before he's signed the contract! I smell lukaku levels of media interview coming within 6 to 8 months.....

Palace dont need to sell even if he is unhappy, he has 4 years left and once thd window shuts he will probably carry on as normal.

Plus they owe Utd 20/25% so £52mill isnt much. Maybe £60mill plus a player in a position ghey need to strengthen may do it

As much as that? See they dont need to sell but i cant see them having deep pockets, they could get a few players in off this, its good business

Yes which is why they are asking so much. Depending on what you read some say 20%, some say 25% but either way its a big chunk. So our bid of £52mill would see them make at most £41mill.

He could be a massive difference between staying up or going down

With Hodgson telling the press hes still got the same squad as last year you would hope we could throw a few in.

Did hodgson ever play Walcott for England?

McCarthy, Tosun, Bolasie linked before

Schneiderlin could be interesting and they dont have any full back depth....Cuco ?

Just don't get the negativity.
Zaha would be great.
He took Palace to another level last season.
He would do the same for the Blues.
To have him on one wing, Richarlison on the other, supported by Digne and Coleman..
well thats as good as any wing setup in the PL.

Its a chance for a good shot at the top 6.
Just don't get it.
He'll create space for the team to play in.
He'll give the team drive
He'll take the focus off Richarlison and in doing so make him much more effective.
