New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It’s like a gambler who keeps on betting to make up for losses, only to add to them further, when the sensible option would be to cut your losses.

He’s clearly a clever man who enjoys what he does and built a good reputation on here. Now, it’s in tatters and he’s up there with TalkSport for ITK.

No respect for him after I called him out on a post he made previously, he denied it, post was gone (he was a mod)

Look at the replies to his tweets, he's a parody.

A narcissist can be someone who likes attention good or bad. He won't stop whilst he has thousands of followers and gets replies.

He's even ripping Esk

No chance it would have happened but wondered what the extra cost would have been to have a retractable roof to air con inside the ground - at some point in the future (5-10 years) we may well see PL games time switched to evenings to off set the skyrocketing heat temperatures in Europe which are only going to climb year over year.
You don't seriously believe that do you?

Not disagreeing in the slightest with those on here criticising Esk for excessive negativity, not knowing when to shut up & having a big ego. He’s clearly stuck in a rut with his Everton analysis and alienating many who sympathise with his concerns. However, a fair few of us know him somewhat in real life (he helped found this place after all). He isn't just some crank with a keyboard but a bloke who went from humble scouse roots to being worth tens of millions with homes in New England & the South of France. He has forgotten more about business than most of his critics have ever known.

On the stadium I am delighted for Meis that his design has been well received. He has genuinely tried to engage, understand and deliver in keeping with our traditions. He deserves huge credit.

I also think all but the most cynical must acknowledge that this is a genuine, already costly and very determined push from Moshiri to finally deliver what we have needed for 25+ years. The ‘fraud’ shouts ignore reality. He has not always spent wisely but he is clearly committed to making this work.

The site choice offers huge benefits but also massive challenges so the project is complex, costly, difficult. In my opinion it still needs more work on capacity, premium seating/services (there has to be a few more Bentley elements to drive revenue) and, crucially, transport - the transport ‘plan’ matches Johnson’s no-deal plan in lack of detail and inadequacy.

Neither planning nor fund-raising will be simple or painless but I think progress so far means it will happen providing Moshiri starts safe and well. Excitement is justified but so is caution until we are taking our seats for the opening game.
