Surely it was a deflection?Solid performance that, good header from Seamus to win it and save that donkey from embarrassment over that mess of a chip

yeah sounds like 8k or so of us there
Surely it was a deflection?
Saving the goals for Wednesday at Wigan when there will be more Everton fans than Wigan, may aswell have played it at Goodison
When they went to the close up it looked like he might have just scooped it into the air like that on his own.Surely it was a deflection?
Can someone please buy Walcott?
So who scored it then, was that a Niasse slice/flop/deflection shot or Seamus head it in from an inch out?
Decent run out, some good passages of play put together, clear that the players know the system (by contrast with last summer). Monaco looked a bit less fit than us, and it showed towards the end.
Some thoughts:
- Digne, Keane, Coleman, Sigurdsson (in that order) looking back on it already; clear starters.
- Schneiderlin and Walcott probably also hitting their own heights already too; clear subs.
- Bernard and Gomes have room for improvement as they get a bit fitter. Thought they did OK.
- Niasse is sadly not the answer.
- Gibson and Broadhead look promising but clearly not ready in my opinion.
- Why is Stek a brick wall for pennos but a hologram for literally everything else?
- Heeeeeee's Brazilian.
