Starting ST
Starting/Rotate Winger (left-footed)
Starting/Rotate RB
Starting/Rotate CB

I think out of the 4 only a main striker is needed whereas the others can be younger, developing lads with Coleman, Richarlison and Mina as starters.
Completely agree.. Imperative we get the best striker we can.. We need to load the cash we have towards that as much as we can honestly. Only way to step change the team the performance. I feel we should make do with our backs, . RB is not a burning platform, although maybe short without Kenny in support, unless Holgate can do a job. Said before I would have Mina & Keane and take a punt at Holgate, Gibson, Feeney as back up. Or get another loan player to backup if they not up to it. Sounds nuts but is it crazier than literally having the strike force we currently have?

Brands has barely put a foot wrong since he arrived yet from the second this window has opened there have been people assuming the absolute worst from him based on zero evidence. Apparently its a definite that he won’t sell any players (despite getting rid of 11 so far), he won’t bring in a striker, it’s only sell to buy, and Kenwright is still in charge after the Delph signing.

Exactly, the same posters with stuff like " DCL tosun and niase upfront again then", "sell to buy" " Delph in for Gana"

It is exhausting, proper misery people desperate for us to be crap so they can revel in it.

Don’t believe me regarding what exactly?

The club has no money and we’re operating a sell-to-buy policy out of necessity. I’ve not wavered from this view and it is something that is happening before your eyes.

We’re buying washed up players like Fabian Delph and making out we’re getting some star edition. Mario Mandzukic the latest past-it player to be heavily linked.

You carry on keeping your head in the sand and thinking everything is going to be fine and we’ll progress from 8th conducting our business this way, there’s a good lad.
We're no different to any other premier league club mate. No one is buying at the moment. All clubs are in the same boat. They have big squads and need to shift a few players. I just don't get your point.

When we sign players for big money will you do the honest thing and admit you are wrong or will you disappear again until there is something else to cry about
Of course, but that’s not going to happen without big sales. Our net spend will be minimal as Moshiri has scaled back his investment.

Btw, when have I ever disappeared? I’ve been a regular poster since 2012.

I'm not worried about Brands. I'm more worried about Moshiri and Kenwright.

But we have been linked with huge bids everywhere, you totally ignore them because they do not suit you MO. How can you possibly cry when if are bidding 30/40mil? It totally ruins your buzz.

As soon as we sign a champs league/prem winner for 8mil you cant wait to destroy him before he kicks a ball.

Did you say anything good last summer? After all those signings? I have never seen you say a good thing about us.

Genuine question, are your initially JS?

Haven't been keeping up with the news - but the Delph signing got me back.

Feels like its been real quiet this off season. What's going on? No rumours or anything? This team should have signed at least 5 or 6 players. Remember that year where we signed Davy Klaasen, Sandro and Pickford. Those guys came early

I feel like there's only one or two more signings left otherwise we would have already done them.

Hardly any clubs have done any business to be fair.

Not a lot of people are doing that to be fair mate

I think a lot of Brands' biggest fans on here just can't handle him being criticised in any shape or form

There's very much an undercurrent on here at the moment that we're not allowed to question any of Brands' decisions. I agree that overall he's done a good job thus far, but he gets free passes a lot of the time that others wouldn't have gotten. There needs to be a bit of a push back I think. It'll be better for the overall health of the forum
