Interesting lack of chatter about right backs. Surely we are not going into the season with Cuco as our backup. Would have thought when Kenny was loaned out we would have seen an in follow, but there has been nary a peep.

ST: think the Kean interest is legit (w Leao a possible fall back)
RW: Malcom and Pepe interest seems real (signing either is an entirely different matter)
CM: Gomes signed, Delph seemingly to follow
CB: Zouma still seems to be the choice
RB: crickets....

I concur, we had a brief link to that Arias fella, but other than that nada.

Which is very strange.
 
But he is so key to how we play under Silva, and it'd be so hard to find an adequate replacement imo.

If he's sold we have to change the way we play. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but it'd mean another half a season of adapting which we really don't need.

Agreed, if there was ever a season to get our act together it’s this one. Lots of changes to the teams above and around us - we should be capitalising
