Delph isn't a signing I expected or indeed wanted.

Having said that, I scoffed when the RS signed an aging Milner from City and he has kept Keita out of the side.

If Gana is going (gutted if he is), then signing a proven older head and a younger midfielder (Kessie?), would solve the here and now, and the future.

I just hope that if / when Gana leaves, we can find someone with a similar work ethic and character.

If Delph is squad player replacing Mcarthy/Besic, I am ok with it. He brings more depth and experience, leadership and has won stuff. If he is replacing Gana(which I doubt) its poor. I hope to God he is taking a pay cut too, we already have various thirty year olds sitting on big wages.

There’s no way he’s gana’s replacement. Probably start the season. With Delph, Gomes, Davies, new midfielder. With maybe Schneiderlin. Of another young players ie Williams/markelo. 5 players fir 2 potions

I genuinely resent this. I've been ostracised and insulted on so many occasions for suggesting unfashionable players, but now we have people actually saying that not every player can be a blockbuster signing like it's normal forum parlance. I said that five years ago and people tried to hang me for it

I'm actually really furious about this. I know I shouldn't as this is just an online fan forum, but bugger me is it infuriating to see so many people change their tune when they themselves have accosted me in the past

Brands and silva would never agree to this unless they thought he would fit, is needed and will want to play for Everton. I trust in what is happening at the club.
