I dont hate it, its certainly different, I think the difference is I'm an arl arse who just wants royal blue top, white shorts, white socks, I've just shown my kids this top and they love it and all want it

I quite like it but Umbro have definitely made better kits for other of their teams this season. Maybe down to the late deal, maybe not.

It's our own fault. They fear a backlash of doing the design all over. Like the Martinez first season backlash. I just want something completely different. But they went less that 10% different.

We take on jersey design like we take on cups.

I don’t know why we always have to have some stupid gimmick on it. Why can’t we just have a royal blue shirt with classy white trim? But no we get a series of stripes, neon sleeve stripes, massive sleeve hoops, double sleeve hoops, inside out Umbro diamonds, lattice sleeve diamonds, weird breast pads. We even had a few that weren’t even the right blue.

For £50 a top, I'd expect something more personal to the club so it has some value but it could be a training top or some random European club away strip with our badge tacked on.

I won't be buying it because I'm an adult but I'll wait until the away and 3rd to buy for my lad.
