....can still visualise Jimmy Husband wearing no10, I was only 7 but thought he was outstanding in that cup run. I think the programmes were a single white glossy sheet, and they used to play ‘cinema interval’ music before the game and at half-time.
 
Except the one he missed vs Borussia Moenchengladbach in the 70/71 European Cup tie at Goodison ;)
But we forgave him, cos Andy Rankin came up trumps :celebrate:
Felt sad for Joe Royle missing that penalty, for me he was MOTM that night, only for the German goalkeeper Joe would have had a well deserved hat trick, brilliant headers matched with outstanding saves. It all turned out okay in the end with us getting through. The first European cup match to be decided by penalties.
