The weakness of the way teams crumble to comebacks just shows how much of a joke it is. Barca are supposed to be the best in the world but they've crumbled 4-0 in consecutive seasons.

It creates excitement and gets the loons in as customers though. Just like when wrestling became scripted too - although it's done far more subtly here.

I can't see anyone being rich enough to bribe a team full of millionares and still be able to turn a decent profit.

Murdoch has a brand to sell. He pays them peanuts compared with what he gathers from thevwilling public. Of course he can pay them to go along with a script.

You'd think they'd not trash the place out of common decency (wasting my time expecting that from a kopite aren't I?!) if nothing else. I cant imagine any scenario whatsoever in which i would trash an arena like that and I'd be beyond ashamed if blues fans had done that anywhere.

You cannot knock Liverpool this season. They have been class and probably the toughest team to beat this season. They are unlucky they have a team like Manchester City in the league, which on their day are better than Liverpool and on par with the best in the world. Regarding the Champions League. Well it’s probably harder to win nowadays, although you can afford to lose games, where as the old format you couldn’t afford to lose any. The old format was much much harder to get into because you had to WIN your league to qualify for it. None of this being the fourth best team in your country and qualifying for it. They need to change the name of the competition, because it’s certainly not The Champions League. It’s ironic that the old format was The Champions League. They should name it back to The European Cup, because that’s all it is now.

Unlucky? haha if it wasn't for luck they wouldn't have even got in the top 4 this season, luck won them at least 20-25 points, that's not even me exaggerating.

I sincerely doubt the CL is harder to win seeing as the final was between Liverpool and Tottenham. The name champions is utterly daft, as i said the other day, the Champions League has been a joke ever since 2005 when nobody had the foresight to think about a team winning it not being good enough to qualify for it the next season. If a team that lost to red star belgrade went on to win it, then i doubt it's harder to win than having to constantly beat champions of big leagues.
