Please Usmanov, wherever you may be. Show yourself we NEED YOU NOW!
Don't you? Did Manchester United not go on and win multiple titles after selling Ronaldo? Or build a side that conquered Europe after selling Kanchelskis, Ince & Hughes?
Liverpool have improved massively on selling Coutinho. When we sold Lineker we won the league. When we sold Rooney we went from 17th to 4th. It's a myth that selling players for inflated prices doesn't help the team.
The sorts of teams we are trying to emulate, (Madrid, Dortmund, Monaco etc) all rely upon selling players. They've sold Politic and replaced him with Hazard & Brandt. Sensible business, no?
We have limitations as to what can be done via FFP. A big sale, such as 60 million for Digne would be a no brainer. It would be 4 times what we paid. What's critical is the recruitment of the players that come from the sale are the right personnel.
I don't worry myself with accounting. However if you want better players on the field, maximising revenue from sales is a good way to start this!
Just no mate . The only point o can agree with is that buying a player for 15m and selling for 60m is a fantastic profit .
