ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I can see Brighton playing a team with kids...etc to give them some premier League experience.
At least they should play a proper game, last Premier League game for some time, no way will they want to defend for 90 miutes like Burnley and Leicester did.

.....absolutely no chance. Last game of the season at home, Brighton players will love being safe and being the centre of attention. They were terrific at Arsenal over the weekend, you need to realise this will be another major challenge for City.

Dunk and Duffy are a huge threat at set pieces and formidable defenders. Your assessment is totally incorrect, stand by for another very nervous 90 minutes!!!

No gloating, this ain’t over.

Absolutely right. City have looked very nervous in the last couple of games, and I expect that to be the same next week. Wolves don't need anything at the pit, the pressure is all on City.

Not being funny mate but you’ve been suggesting they’re going to slip up in every single game for the last month and they’ve answered you every time. United away was D-day on this forum, then since then it’s been “oh no, this was always the most dangerous game...”

Vardy’s pace was apparently going to murder Kompany. He did absolutely nothing. Now it’s Duffy and Dunk we should worry about.

....spot on, I’m truly living in fear. I know what we’re dealing with here. By the way, Kompany dealt with Vardy magnificently.

What's quite fitting is that hopefully the only difference between Liverpool and city this season ended up being......

City beat them to win the title.

A draw there and they were going to win the title in style , unbeaten and true legends of the game. It would have propelled klopp to heights he could dream of and the Liverpool team would have been spoken as fondly as arsenal, as the treble winners , as the 100 point city team.

Except city beat them and that's what will matter.

Sunday will be a great day.
If both teams win at the weekend, it’s the draw at Goodison that will have cost them.

That’d be... delicious

They also dealt with probably the biggest set piece threat in the entire league in Harry Maguire, I’m confident they can handle Duffy and Dunk. This City team are not the fair weather soft touch of teams like Arsenal. They can dig in and grind it out better than any of the “scrappers” down in the doldrums.

....I so hope so but I still think this is far from over.
