ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Put this feeling into my veins. I just hope City wrap this up now. If I'm being greedy, I'd like to request Kopite tears on the final day, I'd love to see that whole ground in unison ball their eyes out as the glorious losers do their lap of honour at the end, with it being the mighty Ev who cost them the title.

These weapons have absolutely no shame. The situation at the top of the Prem right now is very reminiscent of what's going on the Dutch League right now. Ajax and PSV are tied at the top of the table but as the Champions League has shown us, Ajax are vastly the better team. The only reason why PSV are in contention is due to the garbage standard of the league, they are so, so much better than all the teams that they'll pick up a similar amount of points to Ajax despite not being on their level.

Man City are superior to Liverpool by a big margin, and shame on the Premier league for forcing this season into a close title race, which is an insult to probably the best team this competition has ever seen. The fact that this long ball, kick and rush squad of thugs, divers, cheats and serial losers is only 1 point behind the best team in Premier League history tells you everything you need to know about how manufactured this title race has been. I cannot wait for it to be over.

It is mate. But look at their players (Brighton). They're no Leicester and wont provide that quality of opposition.

It surely has to be done now?

Hopefully, but Hughton will have every ex Liverpool player giving him instructions this week to go out and play for a 0-0. They’ll build it up to such an extent that he’ll fancy himself a hero like Rodgers and Dyche did. Some of their players know they’re in the media limelight as well and will bask in the kopite attention. Hopefully City’s quality is too much but without De Bruyne their only attacking formation seems to be with Sane and Sterling both sides. Pep seems to prefer this off the bench as if he starts with it and it doesn’t work like at Burnley he’s got nothing to go back to. If De Bruyne had stayed fit this was over the second they beat Spurs at home but with him out and Fernandinho it feels like they’re limping to the line. Hopefully Brighton will be poor enough to oblige.
