There isn't any reason to put Mane in over Salah who is still clearly the RS best player and has really good goals and assists numbers for it being a "down" year

It's a vote mate...

We know the Reds love votes.
You should have seen the BBC feed for the Manc derby the other night. Every post tasting Man U had done something positive received an upvote, whilst every time something was posted about City it was down voted.

You just know there were loads of RS fans sat there hitting F5 all evening.

GK: Ederson (Man City)

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
CB: Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)
CB: Aymeric Laporte (Man City)
LB: Andy Robertson (Liverpool)

CM: Fernandinho (Man City)
CM: Bernardo Silva (Man City)
CM: Paul Pogba (Man Utd)

FWD: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)
FWD: Sergio Aguero (Man City)
FWD: Raheem Sterling (Man City)

Which team would win?

Always think the issue with the PFA teams is players will tend to vote for the 'best' players rather than the ones who've played the best that season. So players see Pogba and wish that they could do the things he can do, and so vote for him, even though they actually got a harder game off Dale Stephens.
Pretty sure they vote in February as well which presents results like Pogba being in it this year as that is when he was playing really well during Solskjaer’s honeymoon period.
