ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I see that Van Dijk has sent a 'blunt' message to United telling them they need to do themselves a favour and up their game, 'reminding' them that they still have Top Four to play for.

That's really going to inspire them, a patronising passive-aggressive pat on the head from a RS balloon like him.

Similarly Klopp apparently 'couldn't resist' a go at them, saying 'At the moment I can't see them winning... what was it today 3-0, 4-0? Anyway, we'll concentrate on Friday'

Do they really think that sort of hokum dimestore psychology is going to make a ha'porth of difference?

They're terrified of City on Wednesday. Absolutely losing their chickens over it...

To be fair they're just playing to their audience who lap that stuff up.

I am detecting a distinct lack of confidence now in their Title quest.

They believe City will win all four remaining games.....Spurs was their last best hope.

And whereas they feared United might not be particularly arsed in the Manc derby, they now feel it matters not if they are arsed or not, United are so poor that City will win,

And Burnley making themselves safe tonight works against them as well.

A brilliant player, but really does come across as an utter helmet

United were shocking on Sunday, no question but you're not telling me there isn't certain parts of the media who have gone in on them as in to challenge them to raise their game for Wednesday because in all likelihood that is Liverpool's last chance.

I hope United are reading all these comments coming from Liverpool, the patronising gets and roll over.

God I hope solskjaer makes a point and drops 15 players just for the game. It's not really a "do It for the fans" scalp for him if all the fans want them to lose. How can your team be so hated when your big enemy wants to lose their own Derby when they're still competing for CL.

Ferguson did the mind games thing so much better.

Personally think Ole needs to send a message to the players like Pogba and De Gea in the first XI and send out the U15's tomorrow. That'll really fire them up for the last few games. Might even send them fourth.

Send out the women's team please. Or, even better, the blind team.

Or send a message to De Gea and put Rashford in goal.
