He reminded me of dembele today, how strong he was and the way he turned away from players and moved forward. And dembele struggled in his first couple of seasons at spurs. So hopefully Gomes has still got a lot of improvement in him.

Wish people would cut it out with the he's not quick enough rubbish, he's not a winger, there are other ways of playing the game than running around at 100mph, he has vision and can control the centre of the park, he has that skill set, the statto boys do my jut in.
I would prefer it if he saved that sort of form until we had him safely signed up.
