I think between 8th and 12th is our level in this transitional season. Getting rid of the Koeman players and reducing the average age of the first team meant anything higher than that was absurd.

Next season with the right summer purchases we can realistically aim for top 7/8 - or even top 6 if one of the financially doped clubs have a terrible season.

I know football when I see it...I also know when managers are attempting to set up progressively but the players aren't carrying the game plan out.

You can set up progressively all you like, but it makes little difference if you’re not a good enough manager to do it.
