ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I’m beginning to think SAF is managing the team. He’s at the training ground and in the dressing room at the matches. They play almost exactly the same way his teams did. Chuck a load of kids out in a 442 and yet amazingly have a solid defence and cut open top teams away from home. It’s unbelievable.

Well, I think solskjaer has only had a clean sheet against the bitters in his time there, so I wouldn't say solid defence ha

Want them out against Bayern, while they’re in it there’s always a chance.

Definitely. I don’t buy the argument about only wanting one competition to focus on. They’d be gutted to go out now looking at that QF linenup and could’ve aisly ramp up the pressure on them to win the one they do have left. Equally if City lost the quadruple the disappointment might impact league games too. There’s no definite right answer. The best outcome is always Liverpool being booted out as early as possible so make it so Bayern.

City will do what they will do.

I only actively look for one club to get beat.
If Burnley can get at least a draw at the weekend that would be lovely.

Every City win builds confidence and belief.

I think he's got a very big influence currently and he's made sure all the right people are in the right place. That's not taking anything away from Ole either who is doing a terrific job backed by quality like Phelan and Carrick

I dont think he is managing the team imo,but I'm sure he is taking a lot of advice of him, and who wouldnt. Solsjkear said in his interview that 'it was nice to see boss come in the dressing room after the game'. There will be some involvment from him without doubt.

Easy choice for me...I want them to lose every game...ever

Amen

That was a Sir Alex Ferguson away Utd performance last night. Make no mistake, that will make all the remaining clubs be thinking "yeah I don't want to be facing Utd" this side is a very different animal to the one three months ago where they looked like a club on the decline

I'm sure Ferguson is behind the scenes having a massive influence with Ole, Phelan, Carrick etc
A kopite I work with went full on frothing at the mouth last week, claiming it's Ferguson who's managing them and Ole's just a puppet. He's normally quite placid too. Out for tea tonight (working away), I might mention last nights game to get him going again.

Yep just keep dropping it in conversation like when he turns up late "what time do you call this then, oh I know it's Fergie time" he'll be crying within about 5 minutes of the meal

Ha ha, when they do it it's banter, when we do it we are just "bitter" lollollol
