The usual rolls of the dice going for them. Bayern without Muller Robben Alaba Kimmich Coman with doubts over Goretzka and Ribery. That’s 7 first teamers right there. Pochettino now banned from their game. Anyone writing them off for either trophy is foolish. They remain the most fortuitous team around. It’s amazing they’ve won as little as they have recently given the breaks they get.

I don’t see Poch not being on the sidelines as any big deal, Dom.

He will be able to relay his instructions to his number two in the dug out easily enough.

And to be honest, I have always thought it a bit weird, managers sitting or standing at pitch level anyway.

You get a far better overview of proceedings when sat a bit higher up.

City lost at home to Lyon with Arteta in charge. I think it makes a difference. Hopefully Spurs might be in some decent form though now that pressure is off them in the league and they’re through in Europe.

Tbh I’m just hoping City see it out. None of these things matter if City win every single game and whilst that is unlikely if either of those two sides could do it it would be City. They’ve come through a spell of Arsenal, Us, Chelsea, Schalke, Chelsea again, West Ham, Bournemouth and won all of them in the midst of injuries. An unbelievable run. They’re good enough to see off every team in the run in if they’re at it.

Or he can hide in a laundry basket like Mourinho.

The RS should be celebrating that. If they get by Bayern then the whole thing is there for the taking now.

Ajax and Man United or PSG and Real Madrid? I know which two I'd want in the draw.
Really hope one of the English teams wins this, or Bayern!!!

Lots of venom being aimed at Lord Ramos tonight after Real Madrid got a stuffing. Cheers of Ramos being a loser and of how Madrid have not qualified. I mean, looks like they are celebrating winning the world cup the way they are going on about Ramos and co. Aldo will be on funkypigeon.com buying a loser card for Sergio.

As for Ramos and his mates, how will they ever got over this defeat? Ah yes! they can just look at their collection of winners medals.

And when the RS go out next weekend

....Real won't even care. The bitters strike again.

I see the special dispensation committee has reconvened for Lent. The RS must have got Egypt's Golden Boy to put the arm on them to sort this....its got their grubby fingerprints all over it.

Liverpool handed title boost as Egypt decide to spare Mohamed Salah from upcoming internationals
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp received some good news on Tuesday as he learned that Egypt will spare star man Mohamed Salah from international duty this month.
The Pharaohs play Niger on March 22 in a Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifying dead rubber before travelling to Nigeria for a friendly on March 26.
The two matches would have seen Salah travel over 9000 miles but fortunately for the Reds Egypt boss Javier Aguirre has decided not call him up and allow him to rest.

Wonder how much they paid the Egyptian fa for that favour.

The Bitter Kopite 2 hats

If I am honest with you, I would fear United more than PSG happen I was a fan of a serious CL contender.

United have pedigree and form in the competition.

PSG can never seem to rise above the level of flat track bully in Europe.
