So speaking out against Everton all the time doesn’t make him a fan ? majority of this forum aren’t Everton fans either then. Mcnulty is fine, football fans are just massive vaginas as soon as someone who they don’t deem to be a fan criticises their club for something.
I assume then that you are also a massive vagina or not a football fan ?

he resorted to hoofing the ball everywhere yesterday..... Big Fat Sam style... , silvas realised that to get some sort of results you need to Allardyce the paly up abit

Big Fat Marco ….

wouldn't say hoofed, theyn played it to DCL who then laid it off ( very well ) to either winger or gylfi

it's not hoofball it's adjusting your tactics to get a result, and it worked

The inclusion of Schneiderlin and dropping of Gomez tells you the way he's thinking: the defence needs all the help it can get screening wise.

I think we'll play more conservatively until the summer when he can sort a few things out. Hopefully.

Sure, shouldn't Silva have done this from the beginning.

He's had the players to get better results.
Rather than build foundations and improve from there, its been all over the place, schoolboy tactics and little improvement in players (reverse in the case of Gomes, Pickford etc)

In the two derbies and against chelsea he proved how difficult it can be to beat us.
In many of the other matches he pissed it away.
If he had got it right we would have surely nicked a win against one of the top sides by now.

Yesterday was about the players responding to the supporters and the occasion.
How much of it was down to Silva is hard to tell.
He's a very lucky manager - what manger gets a free 17 days to work out the problems
If he didn't get a bump in performance out of the players after that then he really did deserved to be sacked.

Or maybe he was just trying out different systems and different partnerships and giving the players a chance to get used to how he wants to play?

I’m disappointed with how this season has gone but we need to get out of the mindset of sacking people if it doesn’t work out immediately.

And re your 17 day luck thing. Were you saying he was unlucky over Christmas when he had the shortest amount of time for 5 games over that period?

I wish people could be more balanced sometimes.

We've got to have some stability but I appreciate that when you're having a poor season it gets difficult to stick with the manager. As long as we're not in danger of relegation then any/every manager should get two seasons (a four transfer windows). Brands and Silva can become a good team if given some more time. They've brought in some exciting players to the team Richarlison, Bernard and Gomes and they're showing enough glimpses to be encouraging - and yesterday's performance helped a lot. I feel that there's enough promise to warrant continued support.

He’s fine, my uncle knows him personally and has done for twenty odd years. You’ve never met him and hate him just because he did his job and was a bit harsh on an ex manager you adore.
He doesn't do his job...unless his job is to undermine Everton managers.

Not a big fan of McNulty, but have you erased the Spurs game from your memory?

If so, could you tell me how you did it.
Itls an up and down season. We started well then dipped after Pickfordgate, now we have a bit of momentum again.

Does he talk about the application up until the last derby? No.

An utter bellend of a man.

If Silva loses his job, it'll be a result of getting embarrassed by one or all of Chelsea, United, Arsenal and Tottenham in these final nine games. His future is in his own hands.

He'll have no one to blame but himself if he ends up going through an entire season without picking up a single notable victory.
He'd have his DoF not getting him a decent striker to blame.

His hands are tied clearing up Koeman's mess and we're still well placed to get 7th or 8th. That's the reality.

There can be no more early changes of manager.

In order for him to get results that Might save his job then big fat Marco looks like he is willing to HOOFBALL it for the remaining games

Let's put a final end to this rubbish, we were looking at strikers over the summer but Silva was pushing Brands to sign Richarlison, and we did. That is where your striker money has gone, hence why we now need to wait till the summer because we used up the funds and don't have anymore till then. Im all for giving him a bit longer and some proper players, but he chose to go into the season lightweight upfront with what he had, not Brands from what i have been told.
