New Everton Stadium Discussion

1)The increase is share holding, he said he would do that when he first took over the club.

2) the 250m is a interest free loan he can recall on at any time.

3)the club is on course to make another loss in next seasons accounts. The money saved from sending players on loan will be offset by mina, gomes, digne and richarlison wages and -15m from no el football. Unless he has secured a sponsorship deal and not told anyone

4) 120 estimated in preparation costs before the actual stadium can be built (staggering). That leaves just 380m to build the stadium (no chance).

5) legal fights with UNESCO and world heritage will cost money and time

6)300m likely to be borrowed let's say at 5.00% interest will be around 15m a year repayment

7) 200m still to be found, people say naming rights but that has to be in proportion to the size of the club or else it gets investigated like city are at the moment

8)ticket prices will have to increase by a lot, which will put off a lot of current gp season ticket holders from attending matches.

If anyone has seen the Wimbledon documentary on bt sport. Moshiri = a modern day version of Sam hammam.
Oh my....lol.

Would you want us not to go for these type of players Frank ?

Or is Bolasie etc ok for you mate ?
We were never 'in for them.'

Its just hyperbole to endear him to the fans.. Well the ones that listen to it.

Just cos we've got a foreign owner with money, it doesn't automatically mean he's going to be a great owner.. He's already proved to us he hasn't got a clue what he's doing.

He's signed several ridiculous player contracts that will put us 3 years back minimum

Not one owner spends there own money on a new ground mate.

Spurs
West Ham
Man City
Arsenal

4 clubs with new grounds none have been paid for by the clubs owner.

As I've said if BMD wasn't going ahead Moshiri wouldn't be here and certainly wouldn't have increased his share holding from 49.9% to over 65% considering he's spent over £250 million already. No new ground = money down the drain.

Owning an established Premier League Football club is still profitable for Moshiri without us opening a new stadium.

If he can secure the new stadium with public and private funding, then he will. Most (if not all) wealthy businessmen are risk-averse with their investments, but there is no guarentee that any of that cash will be forthcoming.

He may well have increased his stake in the club to demonstrate his long term commitment to the project (therefore enticing further private investment that may otherwise have been unsure about it).

Until we see diggers on site and shovels in the ground, this is all noise to me. Making this noise about the club is positive. It keeps bums on seats and focuses fans on the future rather than the present. It also creates a “buzz” around Everton FC to those on the outside looking in.

Whether or not any of this “buzz” actually materialises into what we hope is pure guesswork, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Long way to go.

Why do you even bother when you're a red mate?

You're on course to win the league and I couldn't give a toss as to go over and post doomsday predictions on Rawk.

Nothing that LFC fans post on social media will affect the eventuality of the move. BMD is a sure thing 100%.

Its brilliant how rattled it has you all that even in a season as good as it has been for you lads your still obsessed with little old Ev.

Napoli seem to think differently.
As did Costa's agent.

But ye lets just keep signing Sandro's and Vaslic's .

Lads... just think how boss it'll be when the official images are released and planning permission is applied for.

Lets just hope it follows on from the RS finishing the season in 2nd as the fume will be even greater.

It is actually weird how obsessed they are with us when you consider the season they are having. Imagine us being joint top of the table yet spending our days on Rawk discussing their new stand and clubs finances!

To be fair we've got our own lfc finance obsessed board member on here. Can't remember his name now but he comes out with some detail. It's frightening. I couldn't tell you my own finances as well as he knows Liverpool's.
