ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Klopp charged for comments about the ref. Be hilarious if he was banned for a game and they slipped up and lost the title due to his ‘zany banter’.

I've never really understood how a touchline ban is much punishment.... You can see the game way better from the directors box, and it's easy to communicate down to your assistant on the bench....
They should put him in a cage...put the cage in the ocean.... and....and well leave him there.... Liverpool can buy his freedom with 15 of their league points....

Mate, I couldn’t even tell you what decisions Liverpool have or haven’t been given, as I don’t watch their games. Funnily enough, I have better things to do with my time. However, I’d be extremely surprised if there was some sort of conspiracy afoot. Why would anyone bother? What would the Premier League gain from Liverpool winning the league?

Liverpool winning the league is a gold mine for the Premier League and the entire media.....Liverpool have a much bigger fanbase than Man City and Spurs..

Football is a business, worldwide Liverpool are one of the biggest supported teams (them and United are the big 2)...

A big percentage of Liverpool fans are bandwagon fans (they only really show interest when they think there gonna win something).... When they show interest, they subscribe to Sky Sports and BT to watch their team (same with PPV channels all over the world)..... They click on to articles online to read up on what they need to tell friends is their opinion... They buy newspapers they wouldn't normally.... More viewers and readers, means bigger advertising deals, and bigger TV deals for the PL...

Guarantee you Sky and BT have atleast 5 times the subscribers now then they had the year Leicester won the league...

So yes the Premier league has a financial reason to want to see Liverpool succeed... And the media have a financial reason to make light of offside goals, and diving that are bringing Liverpool success (and sure if all the pundits are biased Liverpool fans, everything is easily taken care of)...

You aren’t arsed about the tricky reds but you are never out of this thread.

But this grand plan has never, ever, actually worked though.

But this grand plan has never, ever, actually worked though.

Didn't need to while United were dominating for years (and they got more than a helping hand along the way too)......

Now City are the big boys, but have no fans...... So if Liverpool (or United in future seasons) get close to the title, the refs will do the rest.....

They've never had the squad to do it mate. They dont this year hence the help they're getting. During the Alex Ferguson/Wenger era they never had a chance, they were competing against the likes of us for the majority - then Abramovich came along and it was Chelsea's turn, then City...

Now with the implementation of VAR meaning they can't do their usual cheat their way to the top it's now or never.

A match made in hell.

Even if they don't necessarily want them to win they are enormously invested in the league not being a one horse procession.

Too much has gone their way for it to be a coincidence.
