We had to change the way we played to accommodate him,once we went back to the normal system...

Spurs?? He's a Leicester man through and through.

Tottenham fans got rather annoyed with him when he openly sided with his hometown club during the Spurs/Leicester title race in 16/17.

I tend not to listen to him giving that he’s a grade A bell who shows nothing but discontent to the club

....he was fantastic for us that one season. He’s on the cusp of being a world class player I saw playing for us, except he wasn’t here long enough (similar to Kanchekskis). Top drawer striker who says Everton was the best club side he played in.

Obviously, his season intercepted two title winning years but I wouldn’t put that down to Linekers inclusion. I think we’d have won the league in ‘87 had he stayed. Top player.

One of the best strikers I have ever saw play for Everton, his pace was electric and he could sure poach a goal. Still haunts me we never won anything in that 85/86 season.
