It was a light hearted harmless remark saying we thought he walked on water.
Indeed I posted a picture with such a banner - The Latch was the player who replaced my boyhood idol, but even after leaving us he was a very good scoring machine for Swansea as was Joe Royle for Man City both of those by the way are much higher on the goal chart than Duncan Ferguson - it's all about opinions friendlier, and on here than most threads thank goodness

Er, convenient memory loss occurs over the punchline.....
Goodison road side standing held a hell of a lot of fans some away fans gathered there - City fans sprigs to mind just to the left of the dugouts set back a bit but not stood at the back,mid terrace if I remember.....
Made quite a bit of noise away fans mainly behind the park end behind the goal on the wooden floor stamping their feet - great atmosphere!
The shower over the park always liked to rip a barrier out of the wooden floor...... Louts.....
