Sigurdsson out wide makes no sense though as he just doesn’t have pace.COuld well be mate, but more likely 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 with Sigurdsson on one of the flanks.
I don’t rate Tosun but can get why he was picked against this team of grocks.

I think it'll be 4-3-3 with the ball, 4-5-1 without it.
ie, he can't use his type of pressing if he's using a diamond 442its the same dross mate, just in different positions

unless he completely lost it - which might be a possibility
Sums up 12 years of GOT in one go.Pace helps but you don't have to be pacy to play wide. I actually think if Siguurdson is wide then we will fare better as a team than if he was off the striker. Davies and him would just get in each others way.
It's not what I would have done but it could work. But probably won't...
Without pace on the wing then the player must be deadly with swinging the ball into the striker so if anything Gylfi could do well here.Pace helps but you don't have to be pacy to play wide. Tactical genius.Marco slowly morphing into fat sam
First the inept football, then hoofing and isolating the striker and now shoehorn Gylfi onto the left
Well we even more knackered today with him on the bench. Why is everyone crying about Davies? He was decent against Man City.
What, not even Coleman? The guy who was supposed to be a shoe-in to replace Jags?
Evertonians agreeing, this could catch on.well we can all agree the stiff 4-2-3-1 formation is totally outdated, at least with this squad anyway
