If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

Moyes ship has sailed - if he’d got the save us from relegation call last season rather than Allardyce that may have worked. What we need now is the 2019 version of David Moyes. However for something off the wall how about Steven Gerrard?

Mate I know you’re joking but can you actually imagine it? I would actually hate Everton , like proper hate us.

Give Moyes a 3 year deal, get us back to best of the rest ( if that's possible ) then recruit a better manager who can build on a solid formation. We need to become the dogs or war again to be able to build on strict discipline...so sick of this so called talent being able to amble about without a care in the world. We certainly not anywhere near where we were 'effort' wise from where we were since Moyes left.

So Man U should have sacked ferguson when he got thrashed by city? Arsenal should have sacked Wenger when Man U smashed them 6 or 7 1 or whatever it was?

I don't care what happens to them, I care about what happens to Everton. Ignoring the fact that Ferguson and Wenger won bucket loads for their club I don't get why you are arguing about something that I personally believe in. I have already said that it's an odd mindset and hardly anyone will agree with it but you are not going to change my mind on it either.

Its my personal feelings on it, I can't change that!

If we got beat 7-0 last night I would be saying the very same thing. I don't find that kind of scoreline acceptable for my club.

I’m not saying it’s acceptable , but saying you would sack a manger that had just finished 4th with no money , after finishing the last season 17th is rediculous

Mate I don't care if you think it is "rediculous" its my opinion on it! I can't help that. I don't accept abject failure even over one game. People pay their hard earned money to go an watch it. It is gross negligence to me. It was also years ago so it doesn't matter!

Oh and he did have money that season. He bought James Beattie to play up front on his own, meanwhile dropping Bent who was making the system work in the first place.

We were never dogs of war under Moyes though! We actually played some nice stuff under him but any time something was riding on the game we failed. That's not dogs of war.

Or maybe we all just respect what our chairman has came out and said, and get behind the manager.

Just think about what everyone was saying in the summer "year of transition" "we have to be patient"

How does a 41 year old manager learn if he isnt allowed to make mistakes?

Silva has not done a full season in charge in this country, and the problems a full season makes compared to other situations is massive.

Look at Klopps January/February record at the RS?

He is allowed to make mistakes, 17 of them is taking the michael though.

Jeez - he can’t even beat Rodgers!

Moyes is still the best domestic manager, ahead of Roy and Hughton. Howe is overhyped in my opinion.

The other options are lackluster. The more prominent foreign coaches in our ballpark, like Jokanovic and Bilic, have already had failure. I don’t think I could stomach seeing the waiter in the dugout for us.
Based on what, in the last 5 years?

We started out like that under him, he did indeed improve tactically when he had a small budget to improve the players. He did it slowly and carefully and for better or worse we were generally best of the rest..unlike now where everyone is asking where are next points are coming from to keep us in this league.
