Anyone care to enter a caption for the above which seems to be the standard online picture of Marco for the last couple of days?
Look how good that boy Keane is mate, you really want to sign him in the summer don't you Nuno, do a pal from the old country a favour, he's yours for £60m!

I don’t understand why everyone wants Silva out.

We have looked lethal when the squad has performed to his instructions.

All his signings have paned out well; including Richarlison, whom is our top goal scorer despite being a dirty loathsome player.

We have known issues that we must improve upon:
1. Defending set pieces
2. We need a premier league quality CF that can finish and also create chances for himself and others.
3. Add mobility to midfield while maintaining technical ability.

All of these issues require time; either to bring in new players or develop our young talent to perform these roles where applicable.

Adapting style and philosophy to fit players at hand is done by managers that only want to meet bare minimum results to achieve mediocrity and guard off relegation.

Good managers of competitive clubs must develop players, and make purchases to fit an implemented strategy that enables the club to be successful.

Further turnover and change is the enemy. Support Everton, Support Brands, Support Silva, Support the lads. Results will follow.

Lethal?!?!!?!!?

It’s our only realistic shot at silverware in the foreseeable future, so we might as well call it a day now if they’re not worth competing for.

The trouble isn’t that he’s failed to do the extraordinary, it’s that he hasn’t even demonstrated a firm grasp of the ordinary.

When you’re consistently 1st place for goals conceded from set pieces between 3 clubs, you have to start thinking that is a problem with the manager rather than the players.

Why, after 70 odd league games, has he not addressed this fundamental problem?

If Everton's aspirations are a glorified intramural trophy, then there are bigger issues at hand.

Again, I've put up some defensive stats. Everton aren't at the bottom, but they're nowhere near the bottom at the moment. Defense is just fine.

I've tried searching for the numbers on set piece goals given up and have had no luck. Everton are high on the list, if not at the top, but by how far?

I know you’re American, but imagine you lived here, and went to the game every week.
Would you be happy going to watch that every week?

I don’t go every week, but I’ve already had enough. I was due to go over this weekend just gone but couldn’t bring myself to. It just wasn’t worth it.

I just want to enjoy watching Everton again. And I don’t believe that Marco Silva can make that happen.

I’m not arsed about stats. At all. I have eyes. And I can see that we aren’t very good and play woeful football.

It’s not all his fault, the players are grim. But if he can’t deal with the players we have he’s not the right man for the job in my eyes.
