It's that bad that I literally just want somebody in who has a strong voice, takes no [Poor language removed] and doesn't speak of us as a project. We need someone who when the going gets tough makes us tougher. These soft touch guys have no backbone in the slightest. We will keep going in circles if we carry on hiring mid table mediocrisy season in season out. Enough has to be enough.

what would we gain by getting rid of him now? this season we're still good for a decent position (not that i'm arsed about 7th), won't get relegated. we went through a good patch earlier this season, now going through a rough patch. just see where we are at the end of the season. getting rid now would just be embarrassing. we need to be careful we don't end up like newcastle. too much instability, partly caused by rabid fans, and we could easily end one of the seasons relegated. just see if he can bring it back, if he cant, swerve him. give me a 14th position finish and then start again, over a 7th position finish by a big sam temp all day. that doesnt do us any good at all.

I’ve seen enough positive performances throughout the season to justify giving him more time. We have a ridiculous amount of squad fodder from the previous managers as it is, if we bring in another manager then he’ll probably drop more players instead of giving them a chance to prove their worth and our wage budget will increase further.

As long as we’re not in a relegation battle, Silva should be given at least another season after this.

I find it hard to believe that so many Evertonians want rid of a manager after just over half a season, we’re 3 points off 7th (a realistic target for this season). I understand the performance against Millwall was bad, but some people are being too irrational and letting emotions overshadow the positives of this season.

A rough patch as you put it is generally 3/4/5 games... not 18... including being knocked out of the cup and conceding 6 in a home game

I'm willing to give him time. Can't keep chopping and changing every 5 mins. I know we're out both cups but realistically we wouldn't have won either so whether we go out now or lose in the final it's the same. What's 11th place to 7th apart from maybe europa league and finishing in the top half, I'm just glad we don't have Allardyce.
