In fairness to Bolassie Villa are grim so from his perspective I don't blame him.

I just dont get it. He gets games at Villa, very unlikely he will here, so I hope, like some have suggested, that he has engineered a move.

Who was the genius that allowed a loan contract where the player could unilaterally send himself back? Like seriously how is that a good idea. Necessary to have Bolasie agree to the loan in the first place?? Can't believe this....now all the other deadwood players will know what they can ask for.

Does seem a weird one that. I always just thought that it was only clubs who could insert a clause that they can call/send back a player.

Beats me. Maybe its normal, but for obvious reasons, very few exercise it? It feels like when we loan a player in, we get stung for wages, loan fees, the lot. Ours go out on loan, and they can lob themselves back on the wage bill at the drop of a hat.

Joking aside, it is a strange one. I don't know the fine details of the loan, but I can't imagine there is a financial reason for Bolassie or Villa (possible they've 'encouraged' him to return, but unlikely) behind it. I.e. extra payments or loss of earnings. Probably is a move elsewhere.
