Have we ever been so far behind them on and off the pitch in the PL era?
They seem to be moving away from us alarmingly quick in both factors.
They are going to be the next English team to break the £500 million turnover barrier, building a new state of the art training ground and look to be expanding their ground to over 60k and just got permission last week from the local council to have non football events in their ground.
Even their CEO is on another level to ours, who was a top honcho at Microsoft who oversaw the first earlier Xbox and the potential of online gaming and his last job before going to the RS he was the boss of Electronic Arts Sports(Fifa,Madden,NBA Live, etc) and was also a earlier pioneer of online console gaming in the early 2000's and we have Baxendale who was at Sport England and Everton In The Community and that's about it.
You can clearly see why not only on the pitch are they light years ahead but off the pitch they are on another level as well.

The problem for Silva is that he would be coming out with that rubbish at about five times the rate of Klopp
So we would notice it more.
They are put in force claiming the youngsters are the future of Liverpool
Even the 16 year old making his debut is apparently the next big thing
I think that's a bit of a mistake from Klopp. Ordinarily, I'd understand playing the B team in their situation, but after the City loss it's very dangerous to get a "losing streak" mentality in that squad.
I think he went overboard on the changes - should have been half the number IMO.
ThisThink it was a smart move....getting knocked out of the League Cup had no effect on their league form...Liverpool, as it showed last night, don't have a strong squad, so they don't need extra cup games...if they win at Brighton on Saturday they're laughing again...
City have a much bigger squad, but are still competing for 4 trophies now, Liverpool only have 2, and probably are mainly focused on just 1...

The only people he disrespected were his own supporters who in fairness were so quiet until they scored. I suppose when you hype yourself up into a frenzy before a big game on Thursday, you have to come back down to earth. He threw the game last night and they should be fined for disrespecting the competition.
All said, I thought Wolves played well. Some really good players in that team.
Remember when Wenger, Benitez, and Ferguson etc used be able to get their teams to compete on all fronts without moaning?
Bit odd with the record funds the new managers have spent that they struggle.
That city result was fantastic last week wasn’t it .... not seen you here since then.He threw the game last night and they should be fined for disrespecting the competition.
