Gomes would need to be signed on a permanent before we can take Malcom on loan so unless we announce the Gomes deal, its a non starter.

The most crucial areas to improve at present are up front, right wing, and centre mid.

If we sign Gomes, brilliant. If Lookman stays and starts turning it on, great. But that striker problem is absolutely stinking the gaff out.

Correct. Within the PL, no more than 1. No rules for other squads outside the PL.
