I think he should see a run of games. I would like to see how he’d fare in the middle, but that position is occupied by Sigurdsson. Don’t think he will get a shot in that role

The lad has a decent game out wide and someone suggests moving him into the middle. This isn’t Footy Manager or FIFA, let’s let him develop into a winger first; our fans are honestly bonkers.

He has played in the middle for both Charlton and England u20 several times. His best performance at Leipzig came playing in the middle as well

Just saying, there is nothing fifa or footy manager about it, it’s a position he’s played several times in real life. He’s got some attributes which are suited to that position such as exceptional skill and ball control in tight spaces. Not saying he should play there but it’s not as weird a suggestion as you seem to think.
He hasn’t been able to get into the team in his natural position as a winger, he has a decent game against a League 2 side and somebody suggests trying him out in the middle. I’d say that was a weird suggestion.

It’s better than the suggestions that Bernard play in the middle, because he did so in 2013 in Brazil. Lookman seems better on the left. I agree with Zat that I’d like to see Bernard more on the right, but without a better goal scoring threat at CF it might be a waste.

I’ve red several posters say that. When was that exactly? RBL doesn’t usually play with a 10. I saw him play virtually every game with RBL and he was on the left with two strikers in front or around him. He cuts inside quite a bit - because that what he does - but I never saw him play a position like Sigurdsson does in Silva’s 4-2-3-1.
It was on FIFA.
